Description General Job Summary: Contributes in the delivery of excellent orthopaedic care in a patient centered environment while focusing on their individual needs. Essential Job Functions: - Individuals in this position will work under limited supervision and must be able to exercise independent judgment and initiative while working under protocols established by orthopaedic Physicians. - Communicate and work well in the clinical environment with interaction with patients, fellow workers, physicians and others. - Provides compassionate support to patients in distress to allow for utmost dignity. - Maintain radiological quality assurance standards. - Adheres to the Radiologic Technologist scope of practice per federal/state laws. - Compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and safety standards of the organization. - Ensure certifications are current and up to date. - Transfer patients with ambulatory issues as needed. - Assists in patient personal hygiene needs as warranted. - Clerical duties such as, but not limited to, paperwork, orders and clinical documentation. - Protects patient, self, and other staff from radiation hazards. - Cleans, maintains, and makes minor adjustments to radiograph...
