We are hiring for one full-time, permanent position located in Central Point , Oregon. What you will do: In this position you will conduct surveys associated with conservation plan implementation for multiple species. The projects’ major activities include: Surveying selected streams to count naturally spawning salmon and steelhead Conducting snorkel counts and/or electro-fishing estimates of juvenile salmonids in coastal streams Monitoring upstream and downstream fish traps Conducting field surveys to assess the condition of stream habitat You will also be responsible for quality control of the information, writing summaries of sampling results, maintaining field gear and equipment, coordinating with ODFW district staff, and requesting permission fr...
