Engineering Manager – Process Chemistry SCS, Technical Shared Services, Environmental Solutions – Process Engineering & Chemistry This position will be located at the Energy Center in Birmingham, AL or GPC HQ Atlanta WORK LOCATION: - This position will be located in Birmingham, AL or Atlanta, GA - This position requires travel (up to 25%), including air travel. - This position will require a mix of both field and office work. - Some relocation assistance is available if the selected candidate currently resides outside the Birmingham or Atlanta areas POSITION SUMMARY: This position is for an engineering manager, a manager of supervisors, a leader of teams for the Southern Company Process Chemistry Group. General responsibilities of this team include providing company assets with expert support in process engineering and chemistry such as steam water chemistry, water treatment, wastewater treatment, and air pollution control. This group is a part of a corporate shared services organization serving the many companies of Southern Company.
