Maintenance Planner

Job description

Summary: Responsible for the planning functions related to preventative maintenance, assigning work orders, checking inventory, staging parts and will indirectly lead maintenance technicians through this process. Job Duties: Duties may include, but are not limited to the following: - Scheduling Preventative Maintenance (PM’s) - Developing a daily & weekend plan for technicians to complete work orders - Verify inventory of parts needed for kitting process - Tracking and monitoring the process of PM’s and work orders - Tracking of downtime due to mechanical breakdowns - Closing work orders as completed - Track the time that it takes to complete PM’s and work orders - Update PM master list as needed to reflect correct time and parts to keep current - Coordinate parts ordering with the MRO Procurement Analyst Required Competencies & Knowledge: Knowledge of: Purchasing, maintenance functions, and machine parts Skilled in: - Excellent organizational skills. - Well-versed in Microsoft Office - Exposure to lean concepts such as 5S, center lining of equipment and use of tools such as MTBF and MTTR as metrics to gauge progress in elimination of downtime. - Extensive CMMS experience, specific...
