Job description

Position Description: deciBel Research is seeking an experienced Software Developer in Huntsville, AL. As a Software Developer on the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS) Fire Control (GFC) Battle Manager software team, the selected candidate will be part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining the software that supports the U.S. missile defense system. The role involves working in a collaborative environment to understand, implement, and test both existing and new capabilities and algorithms. Many of the algorithms and capabilities developed by the GFC team are complex, mathematics- and physics-based solutions that are highly visible to the GWS customer, the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). In addition to software development responsibilities, the candidate will also support the review of requirements and test cases developed in support of the GFC software team.
