Department: 08703 Dreyer ASC Co - Surgery Center: Surgical Suites Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 36 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Monday - Friday (no call, or weekends) typical hours vary between 7a-5:30p. Pay Range: $26.55 - $39.85 Major Responsibilities: - Performs duties in the scrub role as assigned: - 1)Prepares sterile field in a timely manner. - 2)Complies with departmental policy and procedures regarding specimens, counts, medication to field, and disposition of contaminated instruments. - 3)Maintains sterile field and boundaries prior to and during procedures. - 4)Acts as preceptor, sharing knowledge in a supportive/educational manner. - 5)Assists in emergency situations as assigned. - 6)Maintains a safe work environment according to regulatory agency standards. - 7)Maintains educational records and timecard. - 8)Maintains competencies. - Responsible for the preparation of the surgical field and supplies / instruments delivered to the field: - 1)Verifies instruments/supply/equipment available and ready per physician preference card. - 2)Verifies specific needs of physician by reading scrub tips. - 3)Assists in opening sterile supplies...
