Job description

Position Summary The Administrative Director will shape and focus the organizational direction of the Artificial Intelligence Institute, the university’s cross-school hub for AI, developing cross-school support structures to unify and amplify existing major strength in AI research education existing across NYU schools and departments. Provide operational leadership and oversee the Institute during its launch and initial growth. Oversee activities across research, education, and partnership initiatives, support the faculty leadership of these initiatives and integration across schools these require, and serve as the primary liaison to central administration and NYU's schools. Position the Institute as a platform and intellectual hub to represent NYU’s AI-related efforts externally, engaging across academia, industry and government. Qualifications: Required Education: Master's Degree Required Experience: 10+ years of progressively responsible administrative and/or operational leadership experience, including demonstrated experience managing cross-cutting initiatives, budgets and staff.
