Hours; 36 hours/week Shift 7a-7p and 7p-7a available: Every 3rd weekend and rotating holiday requirement Tower 3 is a 55- bed mixed acuity, telemetry, trauma orthopedic/neuro-surgical unit. Tower 3 specializes in the care of patients18 years and older suffering from neurological issues (strokes, MS exacerbation, seizures, long-tern epilepsy monitoring), patients undergoing neurosurgical, orthopedic, and general surgeries (back, neck, and brain surgery), and trauma care (falls, motor vehicle accidents, and victims of violent crimes) and patients requiring intermediate level of care. General Summary: Provides clinical support services to patient care staff by performing a variety of duties related to patient care. Takes patient vital signs, assists patients with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, feeding, toileting, etc.), inventories and replenishes supplies and equipment, and performs special assigned duties such as performing EKGs and Point-of-Care testing.
