Job Description: Tasks, role & responsibilities: Sizing of aircraft components, parts and assemblies of transmissions and rotors. Structural analysis during design definition and development phases. Trade off analysis for different design solutions. Linear and nonlinear structure analysis with the Finite Element Method (FEM). Analysis and evaluation of structural strength, stability, damage tolerance and fatigue. Providing and reviewing technical documentation. Presenting and reviewing analysis results. Ability to be technical lead of projects to validate assumptions, results and conclusions. Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. At least 4 years’ experience in the stress department in Aeronautical industry, Automotive or similar. Experience in structural analysis. Experience in FEM tools (preferably HyperWorks/Simcenter and Nastran/Samcef). Standard stress methods knowledge. Programming skills will be an advantage. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Good team spirit, autonomy, engaged. Very good command of English (B2 level or higher). German or French will be an advantage.
