Shop Service Technician-Electric Power Generators Department: Power Systems Division (PSD): Employment Type: Full Time: Location: San Antonio: Description: This mechanic position demonstrates the ability to perform basic inspections, basic diagnoses, and basic repairs of diesel-powered heavy equipment and/or electric power generators, following established procedures and guidelines. Works as a member of a team to provide basic mechanical services that satisfies customer needs and achieves departmental goals. Entry-level position – Generally has two or more years of experience and/or demonstrated job relevant knowledge/skills. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job; works under moderate supervision.
