Job description

Purpose of the Role The External Cleaning Operative works in collaboration with other team members to clean and maintain the Trafford Centre. You are responsible for the day-to-day cleaning of specifically agreed areas to the required standards. Delivering deep cleaning, maintenance cleaning and scheduled cleaning of the external areas within the Centres perimeter. You will be expected to operate a large variety of cleaning and waste equipment and machines (after training) including compactors, balers and vehicular machinery. Sorting and transporting waste from collection points, separate and compact appropriately whilst adhering to the Centre’s recycling policy. You will have the ability to work both individually and within a team. You will be capable of carrying out your duties without constant supervision and be proactive in ensuring your area of responsibility meets the highest possible standards of cleanliness and safety.
