Overview Optics source inspector needed in Switzerland We are looking for detail orientated Source Inspector, being a specialist in optics, to support a high-profile customer program. This role requires a deep expertise in the inspection of precision optical components and assemblies, being capable of engaging directly with suppliers to ensure all products meets customer exacting requirements. Responsibilities: - Conduct detailed inspections of dimensional, surface quality, and functionality of optical components, including lenses, prisms, coatings, and assemblies. - Review supplier documentation, drawings, and specifications for compliance. - Verify adherence to customer quality standards. - Identify and report any non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are implemented. - Provide clear and concise inspection reports with real-time updates for customers. - Work with supplier quality and engineering teams to resolve issues. - Support ramp-up with on-demand coverage, with the potential to expand into a full-time role.
