Yard Staff - Government Services

Job description

The Yard Staff safely receives, merchandises, uses inventory accountability practices, operates MHE, and facilitates check-out of items. They may perform their duties at customer locations, RB Global facilities, and/or Government Locations. Strict adherence to the Ritchie Bros. standard of customer service is always expected of the Yard Staff. - Receives/releases (checks-in/checks-out) inventory. - Performs joint physical inventories at government locations. - Uses systems to track and process inventory. - Drives/operates heavy and light equipment. - Performs facility inspections (per checklists) and provides housekeeping or maintenance services as necessary. - Performs basic maintenance and light repairs on equipment. - Merchandises and inspects items for sale. - Boosts equipment. - Performs basic demilitarization and deidentification. - Checks fluid and fuel levels on equipment. - Assist in coordinating logistics. - Interacts with customers. - Travels to other locations as needed. - Perform other duties as assigned. - Good customer service to both internal and external customers. - High school diploma or GED required - Travel up to 80% may be required - Lift 80 pounds regularly R...
