SCHEDULE: 0900-2130: FULL TIME: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for providing medical imaging services as directed by the physician and/or radiologist. Completes assigned responsibilities within his/her certification with little or no direct supervision. Participates in performance improvement activities and quality monitoring for the department. Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities: - Graduate of a program for Radiologic Techs. - ARRT registered and obtained Iowa permit to practice prior to taking x-rays. - Previous hospital experience preferred. - Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS required. New employees certify within three (3) months after hire date. - Must possess a valid Iowa driver’s license and meet satisfactory motor vehicle record requirements, if applicable. - Must maintain and provide proof of his/her own auto insurance policy, if applicable. - Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. - High degree of empathetic listening, tact and kindness toward others. - Ability to communicate well verbally.
