Job description

The Aircraft Mechanic 2 (CH-47/AH-64/UH-60) Oversees and performs maintenance on helicopters, excluding repair of systems according to drawings, blueprints, directives, technical manuals and safety procedures. - May be required to perform any AM1 task. - Oversees removal and installation aircraft subsystem assemblies such as engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, mechanical flight controls and their components. - Oversees and services and lubricates aircraft and subsystems. - Oversees preparation of aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks. - Oversees and performs scheduled inspections and assists in performing special inspections. - Oversees and performs limited maintenance operational checks and assists in diagnosing and troubleshooting aircraft subsystems using special tools and equipment as required. - Oversees and use of and performs operator maintenance on tools, special tools and aircraft ground support equipment. - Oversees preparation of forms and records related to aircraft maintenance. - Oversees, removes and disassembles defective parts of the aircraft. - Oversees maintaining the supplies and perform preventive maintenance. - Performs additional duties, inclu...
