Marshall Land Systems is seeking a Trade Control Specialist to join our team in Ottawa, ON or Moncton, NB. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Commercial and Legal, the Trade Control Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and executing compliance activities related to the import and export of controlled goods across international borders. In this role, the Trade Control Specialist will ensure that all shipments, transfers, and disclosures whether physical or digital are conducted in full compliance with applicable regulations, including the Controlled Goods Program (CGP), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and other relevant international export control laws. Your responsibilities in this role: - Serve as the subject matter expert on Canadian and international trade control laws and regulations. - Obtain and maintain export licenses, including preparing and submitting license applications to relevant government agencies. - Complete tasks relating to US export compliance, including preparing Company inputs for DSP5 licenses and Technical Assistance Agreements. - Work with US based customers and subcontractors in pre...
