JOB TITLE: SCHOOL BASED OUTPATIENT THERAPIST: LOCATION: PENDER COUNTY: REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: - Graduation from an accredited program with a Master’s degree in a human services or related field and two years of progressive substance abuse and/or mental health counseling experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Possession of North Carolina licensure as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Psychological Associate, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: - Provides a full range of substance use and mental health disorder therapeutic services for children, adolescents and their families. - Primary duties include counseling children, adolescents and their families – with much of this taking place at various school sites.
