HVAC Service Technician Department: HVAC: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Albert Nahman Plumbing, Heating & Cooling - Hayward, CA Reporting To: General Manager: Compensation: $40.00 - $45.00 / hour Description: The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and/or commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role ensures customer comfort by providing high-quality service, technical expertise, and professional communication. Responsibilities: The job duties below include, but are not limited to: - Diagnose, repair, and perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems. - Inspect and troubleshoot components such as compressors, thermostats, motors, fans, filters and ductwork - Install new HVAC systems and components as needed - Provide accurte assessments and recommend necessary repairs or replacement options - Educate customers on system operation, energy efficiency, and maintenance best practices - Complete all required documentation, service tickets, and reports accurately - Maintain tools, company vehicle, and equipment in proper working condition - Follow safety procedures and comply with al...
