Job Title: System Distribution Relay Technician-Distribution Relay Technician Work Place Flexibility: Onsite: Legal Entity: Entergy Arkansas, LLC: JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: The Distribution Relay Technician is responsible for the technical installation, programming, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and commissioning of distribution automation (DA) devices such as reclosers, voltage regulators, capacitor banks, and switch gear. The position also serves as a subject matter expert (SME) and provides tier 2 support to distribution line personnel. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide safety leadership by exemplifying strong safety culture for others to follow. - Perform DA device commissioning and complete all required work orders and documentation to ensure data integrity at time of commissioning. - Install settings and firmware upgrades to DA devices - Perform Troubleshooting and repair to DA devices - Ensure proper installation of equipment, i.e.: Control relays, Communication Bridges, and all connections associated. - Assist area line personnel, engineering, and DOC as SMEs for issues relating to devices and self-healing networks (SHNs) - Mentor Line Area Personnel on data collecti...
