Department: 39109 Milwaukee North 12 - Hospice Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Home Hospice Aide. M-F 0800-1630: Weekend and Holiday rotation required. Waukesha County: $2500 sign on bonus for eligible external candidates. Pay Range: $20.80 - $31.20 - Contributes to effective patient outcomes. Responsible to provide competent patient care assigned by RN and plan of care. Reports all changes in patient condition to RN or manager. Understands the hospice philosophy and comfortable providing specialized care to the terminally ill. - Performs personal care needs including feeding patient, laundry, light cleaning of patient room and washing. Meets safety needs of patient using equipment safely and properly. Takes temperatures, pulse, respiration and blood pressure as directed by the RN when assigned. Provides skin care and changes patient position to prevent breakdown as assigned by RN.
