About the role In this role, you will focus on outcomes that achieve social equity and inclusion for communities and population groups experiencing inequity and disadvantage which impacts on their access to social, civic, and economic participation. You will assist with the development of policy, and the delivery of strategies and projects that advance social equity, diversity and inclusion within the community. Work type: Permanent Full Time: Classification: Band 6 $95,760 pa plus super Key responsibilities include: - Contribute to a range of activities in social equity and social justice to develop and implement solutions in line with Department strategy and plans. - Develop action plans responding to community needs and aspirations to be delivered with external partners and in collaboration with internal departments. - Assist the City in developing, facilitating, and implementing the social equity framework that responds to the needs of the community, which are evidence based, utilising data and insights, community development tools and methodologies, based on people’s experiences. - Conduct community research, collect relevant data, and present findings in various formats (pres...
