Building, Venue & Events Coordinator

Job description

Overview The Building, Venue & Events Coordinator manages the use of all event, common, and academic spaces within Huntsman Hall, the Eccles Business building and the Gardner Leadership and Learning Building. The coordinater also plans and executes events alongside the HSB Events Coordinator and other Huntsman School staff as needed. The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, customer service skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills. He/she must also be able to adapt to changing circumstances, be a self-starter, and able to work independently. Exempt staff position reporting to the Director of External Relations at the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business. Responsibilities: - Coordinate usage and maintenance of event, common and academic spaces in Huntsman Hall, the Eccles Business Building, and the Gardner Learning and Leadership Building. - Serve as the system admin for all HSB use of Coursedog (USU’s space management system). Set up and maintain HSB spaces and guidelines, set up and train users, handle approval for all requests for HSB spaces, and provide reporting on space usage through Coursedog and other tools. - Serve as the Huntsman...
