Trailer Technician w/ Reefer Body Experience About Pace: Pace Transportation Services is an industry leader in heavy duty truck and trailer parts sales, leasing, and service/repair. We are seeking out a Service Department Technician in Indianapolis, IN to join our team! We offer: - Weekly pay - Competitive compensation ($18.00 - $38.00/hr) - Stable company with growth opportunities - Company provided uniforms - $75 Boot/Shoe Reimbursement Responsibilities & Duties: - Evaluate and diagnose mechanical problems - Examine parts for damage or excessive wear on - Repair or replace damaged or worn heavy-duty parts - Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and tools - Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance - Perform preventative maintenance Benefits: ***Employees are eligible for benefits the first of the month following 60 days*** - High school diploma or GED – Required - 2-5 years’ experience with heavy duty equipment repair – Preferred - Completion of a vocational or other post-secondary training program – Preferred - Trailer body and/or Welding and Fabrication experience – Preferred - Having your own hand tools is a plus, but not all required...
