Salary: £37,280 - £37,280 per annum Hours per week: 37 hours: Interview date: Wednesday 17 June 2026 Join us as a Technical Officer and play a pivotal role in improving the county’s bus network through the National Bus Strategy and Wiltshire’s Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP). This role offers a unique chance to make a real difference in the lives of Wiltshire’s residents, improving transport options, supporting sustainability goals and helping to build a more connected, greener county. As a Technical Officer, you will plan, shape and lead implementation of bus infrastructure projects, including new bus stops, shelters and bus priority schemes. You'll oversee the audit and maintenance of existing infrastructure, coordinate data collection and collaborate with internal teams, bus operators and external partners on development projects. Engaging with local representatives, you will drive improvements in passenger satisfaction, reliability and punctuality. You'll also assist with funding bids, monitor project effectiveness and contribute to updating the Bus Service Improvement Plan as needed.
