Job Description: In order to provide high-fidelity training simulation, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Modeling & Simulation – System Engineer (d/f/m) capable of driving requirements definition and cross-functional alignment. You will join a team of experienced engineers and experts to jointly define, implement and integrate complex simulation sub-systems in the domain of sensors and weapons. Our engineers are closely collaborating with other departments and external suppliers in order to provide solutions for high-fidelity trainings systems, with current focus on the Eurofighter pilot training simulation system PSTS. Your responsibility will focus on the definition and alignment of requirements related to sensors and weapons for the development of high-fidelity training solutions. Besides the close cooperation with the specialists from the sensors and weapons team, you will collaborate with other teams of the simulation departments, operational factors and external suppliers with the goal to harmonize the training needs with the feasibility of technical solutions and the interdependencies to related components.
