Working Foreman

Job description

We are looking for a Working Foreman to join our Grounds Maintenance team, based in Falmouth and covering the Falmouth / Truro / Camborne areas. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple ground maintenance teams undertaking work across a wide range of sites. The successful candidate will have a wealth of experience in amenity horticulture and a proved track record of leading teams, compiling quotes for work and delivering excellent customer service. The role of Working Foreperson will include: - Running a small plant nursery - Responsible for high end Horticulture work in parks and gardens - Looking after and running a small team of horticulturists, volunteers and apprentices - Be responsible for your team’s compliance with all relevant Health and Safety legislation and company policies, including compiling RAMS packs for the teams - Monitor contract budgets to ensure all contracts return the required profit. - Drive efficiency savings and to look for new and inventive ways of delivery our service - Providing supervisory support to teams, helping them keep sites well maintained and to contract specification, to include carrying out and recording site inspect...
