Inside the Role The Materials Planning & Control Analyst II is responsible for ensuring material availability to support DCNA’s parts distribution and operational requirements while optimizing inventory levels and supplier performance. Plans, schedules and manages the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production. Develops raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production. May use Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems. May negotiate lead times with suppliers and manage schedules for timely delivery This role drives demand translation into executable supply plans, manages MRP parameters, monitors supplier lead times, and proactively mitigates material shortages. The position partners closely with Purchasing, Logistics Operations, Warehouse, Finance, and international suppliers (e.g., Turkey, Daimler Buses Germany) to maintain service levels while improving working capital efficiency.
