Summary: The Environmental Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of environmental compliance inside and outside the plant building. Responsibilities include: Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. - Responsible for observing all Company safety rules and regulations, recognize safety as top Company priority and participate in regularly scheduled safety meetings with plant staff. - Responsible for environmental compliance including air and water permits. - Responsible for communication with Corporate Environmental & Safety departments. - Assist in oversite and compliance of odor control plan. - Overseeing wastewater process & operators while keeping in compliance. - Wastewater sampling. - Coordination with chemical companies for receiving chemicals and continuous improvement. - Responsible for achieving individual and department targets, goals and objectives. - Administers Darling Ingredient's Safety program which includes but is not limited to: compliance with all applicable laws and regulations; conducting OSHA safety training for new employees; monthly and annual traini...
