Description Position Description: Outdoor Wellness Leaders (OWLs) fill a vital leadership and community-building role on campus. Leaders develop, plan, and facilitate both on and off campus activities focused on outdoor recreation and holistic wellness of students for a variety of skill lev els and abilities . In addition to leading pr ograms, OWLs are responsible for assisting in the day to day operations of the Nest Gear Shop and delivering exceptional customer service to students, staff and faculty members from UWB and Cascadia College . Position Term: Fal l 20 26 to Spring 202 7 (3 quarters minimum – potential summer work available ) Time Commitment: Average of 12-16 hours a week during academic year (maximum 19 hours) Hourly Wage : $ 2 1 . 30 / hour (In office), $2 2 . 30 (Field) Position Responsibilities: - Maintain a minimum of 10 hours of work a week during the academic year . - Attend and/or complete Core Skills Training in Summer/Fall (August 22-September 4) and any other mandatory trainings throughout the year (Outdoor Wellness Leaders will be paid for trainings) including, but not limited to: - All ARC Staff Trainings - University-wide staff and student trainings - Outd...
