Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES: - Start time 4AM - Transports trailer, full or empty, to or from, receiving or shipping, as directed by the supervisor. - Completes trailer movement log to submit to supervisors. - Completes daily yard reports and inventory on tablet. - Complete pre trip on all trailers used on shipping dock. - Meets and maintains safety standards. - Occasional local deliveries as needed. - Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work area. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: - Basic math and reading skills. - communication skills. - Basic organizational skills. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: - Valid state Commerciall Drivers License (Class A CDL) required. - Preferably a minimum of one year verified exp0erience operating a tractor trailer. - Must be 21 years of age WORKING CONDITONS: - Lifting of up to 75 pounds. - Continuous walking, standing, and sitting; walking long distances. - Exposure to hot and cold conditions. - exposure to dust and noise. - Bending, stooping, squatting, and kneeling on a repetitious basis.
