Hours of Work: PRN Days Of Week: PRN Work Shift: Job Description: Job Purpose - Receives fills and delivers supply orders, processes and sterilizes instruments trays. Cleans and inspects patient equipment, gathers instruments and supplies for surgical case carts. Operates equipment as well as some computer systems, inventories and restocks departmental supplies and special carts. Education: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Graduate of an approved Sterile Processing Technician Program Or - Surgical Technologist Program Or - On the job training in a hospital based training program Licenses and/or Certifications: Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is a 294-bed, full-service acute-care hospital serving North Texas and certified as an Advanced Primary Stroke and Heart Attack Center by The Joint Commission.
