FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Department: Facilities: Reports To: Director, Facilities: Employee Unit: Employees in this classification are represented by Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local No. 521 GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The Facilities Coordinator will work closely with the Manager of Facilities to support all facilities-related activities and will be the first point of contact for internal and external customers seeking support and information from the Facilities department, including but not limited to building and equipment maintenance to ensure that the building and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe and orderly manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below. Perform daily maintenance inspections of the facility in its entirety to ensure that it is maintained in a clean, safe and orderly manner; respond to and ensure all building and offsite storage facilities and work area hazards are identified and corrected in a safe and timely manner.
