The Role: The Complex Assets Group at Fidelity Charitable works with philanthropists, their professional advisors and issuer counsel to facilitate charitable donations of complex assets such as equity interests in privately held C corporations, S corporations, limited partnerships (including private equity, hedge fund and other alternative investment vehicles) and limited liability companies. The VP of Complex Assets will manage the acceptance, oversight and liquidation of a wide variety of complex assets on behalf of Fidelity Charitable from initial inquiry to completion of charitable transfers, post-acceptance oversight and closings/funding of Giving Accounts upon liquidation of contributed assets. You will work directly with donors and their advisors through the entire charitable giving process. You will review assets for acceptance following thorough due diligence and assessment of risk, including securities disclosure in connection with public and private M&A activity.
