Job description

Redwood Credit Union is seeking a Personal Lines Agent who will provide insurance, risk advice and education concerning insurance coverage and planning, while performing a wide variety of duties, selling new insurance policies, servicing personal lines accounts, handling policy renewals, managing leads provided and following up in a timely manner. Ability to travel to assigned branches and other locations is required. Key Responsibilities: Advisory Services: o Proactively review Member financial information and make recommendations on insurance coverage needs. o Provide individualized advice and counsel based on specific client (and prospect) needs. o Use independent judgment to provide professional advice and recommendations concerning insurance policies that best meet Members’ needs and financial circumstances. o In providing counsel, use a fact finding and profiling process that ensures all needs and possible scenarios are considered in recommendations.
