Sheet Metal Technician (HVAC) Department: Construction: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Manchester, CT: Reporting To: Nick Stinson: Compensation: $30.00 - $45.00 / hour Description: We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Technician to join our Construction team. This role is responsible for installation of sheet metal products while also performing hands-on work in the field. Responsibilities: - Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and job orders - Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal components and systems - Operate equipment such as shears, brakes, presses, and welding tools - Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and according to specifications - Communicate job progress and issues with management - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment with OSHA regulations - Complete required documentation, including timesheets and job reports Qualifications: - 2+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication, HVAC ductwork installation, or mechanical construction preferred - SM-1 (or higher) Sheet Metal License required - Prior e...
