Job DetailsJob Location: Tamuning, GU 96931Salary Range: $11.00 - $12.00 HourlySUMMARY/OBJECTIVE The prep cook prepares and cooks all “broil”, “fry”, and “grill” items while maintaining a clean, safe, and well stocked line in accordance with local Public Health guidelines and Outback’s procedures and instructions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1. Sets up the fry, assembly, broil, grill, and steam line stations. 2. Assembles plates according to the menu matrix. 3. Cooks fried foods to order, ensuring proper temperature and color. 4. Filters oil according to standards. 5. Selects, seasons and broils items to order using proper procedures. 6. Coordinates activity on the line. 7. Checks out with a manager at the end of their shift. 8. Performs other related duties as assigned. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is in a kitchen setting with exposure to extreme temperatures (above 140 degrees / below 40 degrees) and loud environment.
