Become a part of our caring community As a Medical Assistant Float, reporting to Sharon Maynard, Associate Operations Director, you will be the first contact for patient care, responsible for administrative responsibilities in addition to patient care. Working onsite, you will perform varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments. You will typically work on semi-routine assignments. As a Medical Assistant Float, you will: Use your skills to make an impact - The Medical Assistant Float position will require travel / float to 4 clinics within the Market (CenterWell Denham, Prairieville, Baker and Opelousas). We will reimburse mileage for all travel. - Perform Clinical responsibilities include discussing symptoms, obtaining vital signs, and administering medications and vaccines. Additional responsibilities involve performing phlebotomy, collecting specimens, and conducting diagnostic screening tests. - Sterilize and cleaning equipment, maintaining examination rooms, and documenting information into the electronic medical records system. - Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers. - Deliver direct patient care...
