Staff Accountant

Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our accounting and finance team. This individual will support accounting operations in compliance with company standards, for multiple entities, including real estate and not-for-profit entities. This is a full time, on-site position. How you will make an impact as a Staff Accountant: - Support the Senior Accountant by preparing monthly invoicing, entering bills when needed and tracking various tenant leases (e.g. rent changes, monitoring expiration dates) - Manage monthly billing to both internal and external customers - Respond to inquiries from and provide requested reporting to vendors, staff, and other departments - Perform periodic reviews of general ledger detail, including intercompany transactions, allocations, reconciliations and payments for multiple entities - Year-end closing of general ledgers, including preparing support and flux analysis - 1099 preparation - Responsible for journal entries, monthly reconciliations, and cash management - Not for profit accounting including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including vendor payments and donor contributions - Support accoun...
