PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Job description

Main Tasks: - Supervising the operation of machine tools, chemical processing, assembly or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets and quality standards - Overseeing the movement, packing and sorting of raw materials or finished goods - Managing the quality of output to identify, discard or re-manufacture faulty products - Managing the administration of accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis - Overseeing efforts to meet quality standards and ensure compliance with HR regulations, data protection laws and health, safety and environmental (HSE) requirements - Supervising the maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
