The Role The primary purpose of the Digital Communications Specialist is to strengthen Paralympics Australia’s storytelling capability and amplify the reach and impact of the Australian Paralympic Movement. Through engaging, accessible and audience-focused digital content, the role will support the promotion and growth of Para sport in Australia, inspire future generations of Paralympians and fans, and elevate the profile and achievements of Australian Para athletes and teams. Working within the Communications team, the role collaborates across Paralympics Australia and with external stakeholders, including member organisations, partners and government, to identify, develop and share compelling stories that showcase the impact of Para sport and the Paralympic Movement. The role contributes to increasing awareness and engagement with the Paralympic Movement, demonstrating the impact of Paralympics Australia’s programs and initiatives, and strengthening the organisation’s position as a peak sporting body, charity and Games Delivery Partner for Brisbane 2032.
