Description Part-Time Adjunct Faculty: Statistics for the Life Sciences: This course introduces the basic statistical concepts to visualize, summarize, and interpret statistical data, and draw conclusions as they pertain to Translational Life Science Technology. Translational Bioinformatics: This course is an introduction to bioinformatics, and includes genome analysis, BLAST searching, phylogenetic tree development, proteomic and transcriptomic data set analysis, and an introduction to systems biology. Introduction to Python Programming with Translational Applications: The class will teach Python3 programming language, and students will learn fundamental coding concepts and practices applicable to other major programming languages such as C++ and Java.
