Field Technician

Job description

Position Overview We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Field Technician to support hardware assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, refurbishment, and operational activities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with mechanical and electronic equipment, vehicle-mounted systems, and field support operations. This role involves both in-house and on-site technical work, including equipment installation, repair, testing, and remote support for operational teams. Key Responsibilities: - Assemble and disassemble hardware systems in workshop and field environments - Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair hardware equipment and vehicle-mounted systems - Replace and maintain computer, camera, PCB, cable, and mechanical components - Perform refurbishment and maintenance of equipment and hardware parts - Support field teams remotely by guiding operators through troubleshooting procedures and system tests - Collect and document technical information during troubleshooting and repair activities - Support engineering and operational teams during testing and data collection projects - Prototype and test advanced hardware equipment, including cameras, geolocation systems, cables,...
