In this role, you'll: Working within our Fleet Maintenance Team at Sydney Trains, the Rail Maintainer will take responsibility to carry out Customer Service tasks. You will provide assistance as required to maintenance staff with inspection, maintenance, functional testing, repair, and component changes to mechanical/pneumatic and electrical systems, equipment, fittings and components on diesel fleet passenger trains to contribute to the reliability and availability levels for Sydney Trains passenger fleet. The role requires a current NSW Driver’s Licence, and it is desirable for candidates to hold a SafeWork NSW High Risk Work Forklift licence. About you: The Rail Maintainer focuses on assisting in the repair of defective trains in the maintenance centres to allow trains to remain in or return to service.
