Description Genetic Counselor - Clinical Genomics: The Department of Pathology, Microbiology, and Immunology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center seeks an ABGC or ABMG certified/eligible g enetic c ounselor to develop and oversee the Vanderbilt Medical Laboratories (VML) Genetic Testing Stewardship Program (GTSP) . This is a faculty position at the level o f Assistant in Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology . Experience with interpretation of next generation sequencing (NGS) -based testing of constitutional and /or oncology specimens is required , along with strong interpersonal skills . The dynamic GTSP team includes medical direc t ors, an operational manager and laboratory technologi s t s and assistants , who w ill w ork collaboratively with clinicians and genetic counselors at VUMC to optimize genetic testing for VUMC patients.
