Electrician (Journeyman)

Overview Inwood Management is looking for a Journeyman Electrician, who is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes. This role emphasizes strict compliance with safety standards, emergency preparedness, and physical requirements to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities: - Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings - Reads and interprets blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics - Inspects electrical components to identify hazards, defects, and necessary adjustments - Tests electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes - Ensures compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, NEC, and company safety policies at all times - Participates in emergency response procedures, including electrical shutdowns and troubleshooting during critical incidents - Troubleshoots electrical issues and provide effective solutions - Collaborates with other trades and contractors on projects - Maintains accurate records of work p...
