Job Description Manages assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of operations and staff associated with patient Bed Management, Transfers and Logistics. Guides communication and coordination with internal patient care service areas, attending physicians and their office staff, and other facilities for the safe, efficient and well-timed movement of patients. Job Responsibility: - Provides leadership to Bed Management team members, supervisors, and managers by communicating and guiding toward achieving department objectives. - Develops, communicates, and builds consensus for goals in alignment with the health system. - Ensures compliance with all regulatory and professional standards of care; utilizes creativity in developing quality/performance improvement programs, instructing staff, and implementing new, and improved standards. - Monitors staff, supply and equipment budgets in collaboration with the staff and support department directors; develops long-term staffing schedules and ensures adequate daily coverage in accordance with established staffing needs; develops measures and monitors operational performance metrics. - Leads performance improvement activities relat...
