NewForce: Insights (Project Extension Team) - Cohort 11

Job description

OVERVIEW: As part of a new initiative related to our recently approved DOL WORC grant extension, NewForce is recruiting for NewForce: Insights. The program will retain four stipend-eligible students per cohort at the same rate ($11/hour) and work schedule (35 hours/week) as the traditional program for a 3 month extension, during which trainees will collaborate on data analysis projects for Generation WV and its partners. NewForce: Insights team members will report to the NewForce Program Director during this time and will also meet as needed with an industry mentor for technical guidance. In addition to providing trainees project experience with real data, their work will also result in actionable insights for our organization, as well as any partners to whom we are able to offer service. This improves trainees’ marketability and improves organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
