ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a Work Control Planner to join our team supporting the Los Alamos National Laboratory ! This position is full-time and will be based out of Los Alamos, New Mexico. Responsibilities: Develop and review detailed work packages for operations, maintenance, and modification activities within assigned facilities or areas. Prepare time, material, and labor estimates to support accurate planning and execution of work activities. Write clear step-by-step work instructions, procedures, and documentation to ensure safe and efficient task completion. Incorporate safety requirements, testing criteria, and regulatory compliance into all work planning documentation. Coordinate planning activities related to mechanical, electrical, chemical, and radiological equipment and systems. Evaluate and apply applicable policies, procedures, and technical requirements to planned work scopes. Identify and resolve work restraints to ensure readiness for field execution. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance personnel to ensure work packages meet technical and operational requirements.
