PRIMARY SUMMARY: Manufacturing Engineering Intern is responsible for completing manufacturing projects as assigned by the LEAN Manager ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Support Lean Manufacturing projects/Continuous Improvement - Produces production metrics and creates display boards. - Performs time studies to establish production standards - Utilizes Solid Works to create drawings for tools, parts, and work stations, etc… - Create SOP’s and Work Instructions - Other duties may be assigned WAYS OF WORKING, EXPERIENCE, AND BEHAVIORS: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: •Analytical – Synthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Understands work flows and procedures. •Technical Skills – Technical skills in manufacturing processes and methods including flow, layout, assembly and production equipment. •Oral Communication – Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. •Written Communication – Writes technical documents clearly and accurately. •Team Work – Balances team and individual responsibilities. •Business Acumen – Un...
