UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health seeks Full Time and Part Time Patient Care Tech for Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital in Penn Yan! Full Time – Day/Night Shift: Part Time – Day/Night Shift: Responsibility Summary: Under the direction of a qualified Registered Nurse, performs various patient care activities and related clerical functions that support the clinical operations of the Emergency Department. Provides technical support and participates in unit activities as a team member. Participates in unit, departmental, and organizational improvement activities as assigned. Responsible for review, completion and terminal filing of ED records. Education: Minimum: - High school diploma or GED Professional Certifications: Experience: Minimum: Preferred: - Current BLS-provided during week one of hire. - CPI certification obtained within 30 days of hire. - One year acute care experience in hospital setting. - Computer literacy required - Phlebotomy, EKG, ED Experience, Medical Terminology course Salary Range: $19.09 - $21.08 per hour based on previous experience.
